Phrase report

Round report
You are graded on the letter name only, so a sharp or flat does not need to be typed. Use the keyboard letters A to G, or the buttons above.

Sing it back
One octave at a time. Press Start and sing each note back.
Scale report
Tap any note on the staff to hear it again.
The drone plays through your speakers and will reach the microphone. Use headphones, or keep it on Tonic only at low volume.
Tap the spacebar, or the pad below, on every notehead. One bar of clicks counts you in.
Rhythm report
Tapping is judged rather than singing, because a sung legato note has almost no attack for a computer to find. This measures your timing directly.

You get the first note. Sing the second one.

Name the interval
Press Start. Listen, then choose the interval.
Interval report
Play or sing the target note and hold it. Being in tune once is not centring — centring is staying there.
Long tone report
The trace shows your pitch across the whole note, so you can see the shape of the problem: a sag at the start is breath support, a drift upward is usually embouchure tightening as you tire.

Tuning check
Reference pitches, and a self-test that runs a generated tone straight through the pitch detector without going near your speakers.
